Cold Rolled Products

Advance Steel provides full support for a complete range of cold rolled product data, including purlin profiles, connections, accessories and CAM data. Each leading manufacturer´s products are accessed via their own icon on the cold rolled toolbar.
Cold rolled connections: All Advance Steel cold rolled connection macros are generic and support the complete section range of 14 manufacturers. When members in the model change to another profile shape or to another supplier, the connections update automatically to suit the standard detail of the new profile!
Purlin/rail connections: Single or double purlin/rail connections. Building Structures

Structural Design

Structural Engineering design is now a computer based activity performed by professionals who require software applications they can use and trust.

Steel Fabrication

Many fabricators now utilize modern drills, saws and plate cutting machinery that can be programmed automatically from CNC (Computer Numerical Control) data.
Indeed even some of those that don't have started to use CNC date to order pre-cut material from their stockholders.
Although CNC data can be keyed in manually or derived from other sources the most common and effective method is to extract it from a 3D CAD model.
Our Advance Steel 3D detailing software from Graitec, for AutoCAD, can be configured to write CNC files in the universal DSTV format supported by all popular machine manufacturers, including Kaltenbach and Peddinghaus. CNC files can be communicated directly to the machine console via a local area network, or even across the
